King Arthur and His Court
I did these illustrations for a startup publishing group. They were assigning illustrators to draw themed groups of characters, with the intention of publishing trading cards. The idea was to package them almost like Pokemon cards. My chosen theme was King Arthur. After reading The Once and Future King, I found that I was crazy about the characters and the story of Arthur. The book I mentioned is an excellent, modern re-telling of the classic tale.

Evolution of Urban Spaces
An illustration for the US DOT International Transportation and Trade Engagement publication. This document offered thought leadership about establishing international cooperation around numerous policies for the movement of goods across borders. One theme was the importance of strong intermodal connections to the global transportation network. In relation to that issue is how technology is developing and being applied to increasing urbanization. The goal is facilitating market access and promoting international trade, while addressing global environmental issues. The cityscape and icons are original art, hand-drawn in Adobe Illustrator.
